Every JVZoo launch horror story has the same underlying cause: something that could have been caught in testing wasn't, and the seller found out after the product went live. This checklist exists to prevent that from happening to you.
Technical Setup (Do These First)
- Test your IPN endpoint: Process a $0.01 test transaction and verify the buyer's data lands in your autoresponder list correctly.
- Walk through the entire funnel as a buyer: Purchase your own product at full price and verify every page loads, download links work, and OTO pages display properly.
- Test on mobile: Over 60% of email opens happen on mobile. Your entire funnel must work flawlessly on a smartphone.
- Verify payment processing: Confirm your PayPal is verified and in good standing. A PayPal limitation during a launch is catastrophic.
- Set up your refund policy page: JVZoo requires a visible refund policy.
Affiliate Preparation
- Launch your JV page at least 2 weeks early.
- Provide complete email swipes — at minimum 3 swipes per OTO.
- Confirm top affiliates personally with their send dates.
- Set up your leaderboard contest with cash prizes.
Marketing and Analytics

- Final funnel check at T-1 hour. Last-minute technical issues can be caught and fixed if you're looking for them.
